There is no publicity more valuable for a conference city than a ‘user’ assessment. For Nantes, this assessment of the National Society of Veterinary Group Techniques (SNGTV), which held its conference in May 2009, was positive. Xavier Gouraud, Director of the SNGTV, explains: "The very first time that the SNGTV Conference came to Nantes was to respond to our target veterinary participants’ geographical constraints. But we came back because of all the strength that the International Conference City has in its formidable team; both on a commercial level and because of its processing capabilities. We met nice, helpful, professional people and that’s crucial! For me, La Cité is also one with the most beautiful and most functional exhibition centres in France: very well equipped, pleasant, warm, light… It’s an architectural success. And then Nantes is also a very beautiful and welcoming town, which is very pleasant to visit with a range of very diverse and interesting things to do."
